The testing machine mainly consists of three parts: the body, solenoid valve, and computer control panel.

1. Body Section

The body of the testing machine is connected by four columns linking the cylinder block and the upper beam.

The upper beam of the testing machine is equipped with an adjusting screw, a reduction gear, and a nut screw to adjust the no-load height of the testing machine. The lower end of the screw is fitted with a ball seat and an upper pressure plate. The lower pressure plate is placed on the piston of the oil cylinder. When the specimen contacts the upper pressure plate, the ball seat of the upper pressure plate can self-adjust for balance, keeping the specimen level with the upper and lower pressure plates. The lower pressure plate is engraved with positioning lines for the specimen. During testing, the specimen must align with these lines. A dust cover is installed below the lower pressure plate to prevent or reduce dust from entering the oil cylinder during piston movement, which could damage the cylinder or oil seal. A sealing device is installed between the piston and the oil cylinder to prevent oil leakage. However, if a minimal amount of oil leaks from the piston during use, an annular oil groove at the top of the cylinder and an oil discharge channel will direct the oil back to the main tank.

2. Hydraulic Section

The hydraulic system of this testing machine mainly consists of an oil tank, oil pump, oil filter, motor, solenoid valve, etc. The oil pump is a direct-rotation axial five-pillar pump. The safety valve has been pre-set to the appropriate position before leaving the factory. Under normal use, users should not adjust the safety valve.
